Fishing Comp
31st Dec 2011 | The Fishing Competition held at Alonnah on Saturday 31st
December, 2011 was a wonderful event on a magnificent Alonnah day, with 198 people registering.
Volunteers assisted for registration, sales of merchandise,
weigh-in, BBQ and refreshment sales and miscellaneous duties. Thanks to all concerned.
A special thanks to those who assisted with donations towards the event.
Competition results will be posted here in the near future.

Boat Club Raffle | Sounds
too good to be true, but the first prize in this year's club raffle is
a 3.8m Hydro Force inflatable dinghy with a 3.3hp Mercury Outboard
valued at $2,500. Second prize is a Fuji underwater camera and
third prize is a model of the Endeavour.
The Raffle will be drawn at the Easter Chopping Carnival, Alonnah on the 7th April 2012.
Tickets ($3 each) can be obtained from the club Treasurer, Bob Jager (0427 725 285) or by emailing info@brunyislandboatclub.com . The tickets are in books of ten.

| Annual Boat Trip | Our
annual boat trip this year was a real success. We went to MONA at
Berriedale and on to the Derwent Sailing Squadron for a meal. At
MONA we had the
opportunity to view the works of art and partake in wine and beer
tasting.
Keep your eye on this space for next year's adventure.
